SUMMER READING – We plan to read “Respectable Sins” by Jerry Bridges through the summer, meeting with others once a week from mid-July for discussion. Book cost is £8.00. Please sign the sheet in the Vestibule or Welcome Area if you would like a copy of the book.
WALTER AND ROSIE – a new prayer letter is available from the Vestibule or Welcome Area.
WORSHIP AT STREAN – BE PART OF IT: Sheets are available in the Vestibule and Welcome Area for all those who have been or would like to be involved – or have an interest and would like training – in all aspects of worship. Please take these and return them as soon as possible through the collection plate, office, or Alan/worship panel members. Please continue to pray for Session and the panel in moving forward with plans for worship.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH will be starting on next week, 23rd June, (after Discovery Kidz has finished). We need volunteers to help with this on Sundays throughout the summer. Would you be willing to help with the children for 1-2 Sundays? If so, please give your name to Gillian Carson.
GIFTS OF BISCUITS would once again be appreciated for the Coffee Bar. Thank you.
FOOD BANK - The trolley is available in the Welcome Area for anyone who wishes to donate non-perishable food.
Tots and Toddlers and Discovery Kidz are still collecting BAGS OF CLOTHES etc for the Building Fund. Please give these to William McCormick.
Crossroads Caring for Carers (NI) Ltd are currently seeking volunteers and clients for their In Your Prime project. Volunteers support and encourage elderly people, whilst building friendships, reducing isolation and creating a supportive environment. A list of when the Ards Presbyterian Churches are having their HOLIDAY BIBLE CLUBS is available in the Vestibule and Welcome Area.
A Hearing Aid Clinic will be held in the Seminar Room in Newtownards Hospital on Tuesday 21st May from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Please note that this service is completely free – details are on the poster in the Vestibule.
Newtownards Reformed Presbyterian Church are having a Book Fair on Saturday 22nd June from 10.30am to 3pm. Bibles, Christian books and CDs will be on sale. Everyone is welcome to browse, purchase or to come simply out of curiosity. There will be some free materials and tea/ coffee.
