A Worshipping Congregation Since 1865

Covid -19 Update

Sunday Services

Based on guidance from Church House (PCI) and Government, our Sunday services at Strean will cease for a period of time.

As a worshipping community we realise this weekly service and fellowship will be missed.

We have put some measures in place – there will be a weekly live-stream on a Sunday morning (at 11am) from our minister, Rev. Jeff McWatters which is currently available on our Facebook page. Jeff is also going to live-stream a daily reading and prayer on Facebook, usually at 9am, on Mondays to Fridays. For anyone who doesn’t have Facebook our weekly service and daily readings are also available on YouTube.

Please continue to check our Facebook page for regular updates as the website will not be regularly updated over the next few weeks.

Support

We want to ensure that we can continue to support you during this time. If you need any help or support please phone  Jeff  or your District Elder.

We do appreciate that in this time of uncertainty from the coronavirus, that many in our church and in our community are now in very changed financial circumstances. We do not wish to put financial pressure on any of our members.

Many of you have been phoning and emailing the church office, to ask how to continue to provide your weekly financial offering and support to our congregation.

One option is to continue your giving directly into the church bank account. This can be done via online banking (setting up a standing order) or by filling in the attached form (standing order mandate form). In doing so, please do insert your initial and surname as the payee reference. The bank account details are as follows:

Sort Code                            95-03-96

Account No.                       62745623

Account Name                   Strean No. 2 F.W.O.

Please do phone Jeff at the Manse on 02891 813374 or on his mobile 07799552804 if you have any concerns or queries.
